Your kind is the reason Nigerians and Nigeria are suffering. Brother leave the shit called Nigeria and go see what people are enjoying just been citizens of a country. Nigeria is a extremely rich country but the wealth are controlled by few people that you come online to praise. You keep calling igbos who are hustlers that go and open businesses
Are Igbos the reason you are suffering. Have Igbo ruled this country for over 50 years.
My brother you need to be wise. Can you boost of 200 million naira is your . My brother I have more than that and I want you to be wise and have sense.
I am igbo and have never in my life see Yorubas or Hausa as my enemy. Be wise it's not about tribe it's about common sense.
I can't believe you think this way. Do not have kids with this type of thinking.
Firstly, Nigeria is not an extremely rich nation. Aside its natural resources, it produces nothing and imports everything
Secondly, your balance is irrelevant to this thread
Lastly, most Yoruba’s are very accommodating and don’t see Ibo’s as their enemies but the constant attacks on Tinubu/Yoruba’s by your people is creating the unnecessary tension online

The story is incomplete because he was arrested and beaten by the locals according to the earlier reports online

Your comparison is flawed because the variables are different especially for the current istration
The naira was defended by all the previous government and fuel was subsidised. However, both subsidies are now gone
The government can decide to make N1 = $1 but the forex reserves will be depleted within 2 years

malali: The author’s attempt to paint Femi Falana’s principled defense of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as “flawed” or “outdated” is not only legally shallow, it is intellectually dishonest and morally bankrupt in today’s Nigeria.
1. The Nigerian State Is Weaponizing Law, Not Upholding It
It’s willful naiveté or deep complicity to suggest that the current Nigerian government under Bola Ahmed Tinubu is merely “applying the law.” In the past two years, dissenters, whether journalists, whistleblowers, or rival politicians, have found themselves facing criminal charges for speech. Meanwhile, pro-regime loudmouths roam freely, issuing inflammatory and equally unverified allegations without consequence.
• Deji Adeyanju was arrested.
• Datti Baba-Ahmed was threatened for calling out the judiciary.
• NLC protestors were tear-gassed in violation of court orders.
This is not the rule of law. This is rule by law, and there’s a world of difference.
2. Falana’s Nwankwo Case Is Not “Misapplied”—It’s Prescient
The author’s core argument collapses under scrutiny. Nwankwo v. State wasn’t just about sedition, it established a constitutional threshold for any law restricting speech. The judgment clearly stated that no public figure should be shielded from criticism by the criminalization of speech.
In modern democracies, criminal defamation is archaic, and in many jurisdictions (including Kenya and parts of Europe), it has been repealed for precisely this reason: It chills public discourse.
In Nigeria, it’s being resurrected by autocrats with fragile egos.
3. Digital Speech ≠ Greater Threat, It Demands Stronger Protection
The author bizarrely argues that Natasha’s speech, because it was aired on Channels TV and shared online, deserves harsher scrutiny. That logic is backward.
The more visible a speech, the more counter-speech is possible. Defamation thrives in the shadows. The government has all the machinery—from media briefings to legal departments—to issue denials, sue civilly, or clarify facts.
They chose prosecution. Why? To silence. To intimidate. To warn others.
4. This Is About Power, Not Reputation
Let’s not pretend this is about “reputation.” Senate President Akpabio is no stranger to controversy. Yahaya Bello is currently a fugitive. What Natasha said, whether proven or disproven, is political speech, aimed at holding powerful actors able. The courts are not supposed to shield oligarchs, they’re meant to protect citizens from tyranny.
And in Tinubu’s Nigeria, free speech is rationed like petrol.
5. The Author is Defending a Regime, Not the Rule of Law
This piece reads less like legal commentary and more like a regime-commissioned justification pamphlet. It fails to engage with:
• The selective application of criminal law
• The absence of swift due process for government cronies
• The chilling effect such prosecutions have on investigative journalism, whistleblowing, and opposition politics
All these are hallmarks of dictatorship masquerading under democratic costumes.
• Nwankwo v. State sets a constitutional standard that criminal laws must meet when limiting speech.
• Digital dissemination of speech is not a crime. It’s a democratic evolution.
• Criminal defamation should be repealed, not weaponized.
• Natasha’s prosecution is selective, not neutral.
• Falana’s interpretation is grounded in democratic preservation. The author’s rebuttal serves an oligarchic agenda.
When Bola Ahmed Tinubu made a statement in 2015, that if anything happens to him, Nigerians should hold Goodluck Jonathan responsible. Why didnt Goodluck Jonathan tell the then Attorney general to sue Tinubu to court for defamation ?
You’re the intellectually challenged and dishonest person who can’t distinguish between criticism and defamation

The current Alaafin like some of his predecessor is trying to rewrite history by remaining seated whilst greeting the Ooni.
The image will be circulated in the future to claim his supremacy over Ooni. However, Ooni is the Arole (Heir ) of Oodua and superior. Therefore, Yoruba elders should call the young Alaafin to order before he starts another bitter rivalry between the two great thrones

Lmaoooo... Seasonal film. Natasha def didn't expect things to turn out this way. She thought she's the commander-in-chief of serial blackmailers but didn't know that where her madness ended is where someone else's started.
Game on! Akpabio has got himself a super striker. Five goals scored in less than a week since transfer was completed
Jokes aside, if Oby Ezekwesili knows what's best for her, she should refund Natasha ASAP and back down if she doesn't want mud slinging whatever is left of her reputation.
The thing is people like Sandra Duru don't abide by any rule. Like I said in the full version of the post below, Sandra has nothing to lose, especially if Akpabio is sponsoring her (I lean 90% she's working for Akpabio). She has no reputation to protect, no political career, neither is she a senator like Natasha. There's no limit to what she can say or allegation she can throw or evidences she can throw into the public. As you saw, she threw private chats and call recordings straight into the public the moment "she was subbed on " Don't underestimate someone like that. It's like fighting a mad man. The mad man is not bound by any rule or law; him fit kai you self and nothing go happen.
What I can clearly see as the game plan of coach Akpabio is:
1. Putting Sandra on a high offensive against Natasha, to choke and put her in state of confusion
2. Switch Sandra to the wing to squeeze Natasha and force her to produce "her evidence" and also overload her side backs (Ezekwesili and co.) into deeper defensive block.
3. Akpabio's defensive midfielders (Regina Askia and Oby Ndukwe) are to offer to Sandra's high offensive moves, so Natasha doesn't have the space to flip into attack mode.
4. The media and social media influencers will serve as his 10, to keep the attacking tempo alive and to control the narrative.
The objective is simple, make the public see Natasha as the serial blackmailer she is and pressurize her to "produce evidence" - the evidence is the main deal . When she does, I'm sure there's a Kelvin De Bryune somewhere waiting to drive in a curling, long-range shot from outside the penalty box with clinical precision to finish off Natasha in the courts of public opinion and the law. As the maestro Mourinho once said, "The best form of defense is attack".
Natasha goofed trying to contract Sandra Duru for her organ harvesting blackmail plan. She was also at no point strategic with her plays - typical of personalities like her who think they can have total control at all times and do whatever with the belief that everyone will/have to bend in their direction.
Btw, she hasn't produced any evidence still - not against Yahyah Bello, Akpabio, or Sandra Duru. Lmaooo.
I as EponObi will continue observing from inside the black tro of their proprietress
Brilliantly written, I couldn’t have stated it better 🤣

Absolute bunkum! Troare is working for his people to the best of the countrys finances. This is a country that has been looted to the ground by a bunch of military officers imposed by . The same country responsible for s high gold reserves. and her imperialists cousins should free Africans. Enough should be Enough! No amount of barefaced propaganda will sway the public opinion against Traore. All these write up being dropped at the speed of light are paid for by the neo colonialists..
The west is planning to assassinate this man the same way they did Thomas Sankara. The same western world that kept quiet while Blaise Campoare looted Burkina Faso to the ground. They have already finished their plans but are now waiting for hired writers to prepare the minds of ordinary Africans before unleashing their plans. And as is always the case, we have a bunch of hopeless and hapless young Africans willing to sell their soul for a pot of porridge, as they write all sorts of trashy articles against a young man that has put his life on the line for his people.. It is a shame
Your long epistle lacks any substance. The world should put pressure on Traore to lift the ban on political parties and conduct elections to return the country to democratic rule
Africa don’t want to be governed by the tip of the gun
