JuanDeDios: SA winter is by June. In 2018 I had a training in SA I was there around 3rd June, and silly me didn't know that it was winter at that time. Bros I saw shege when I got down from the plane, I was so cold that if I had seen another plane going back to Lagos, I would have followed. But nevertheless my office in SA brought a driver so we went to Nelson Mandela square in Sandton to get winter jackets. 3 Likes |

The temperate nature is one of the reasons the Europeans took over the cape. Our Equatorial zone made here a temporary residence

In North Africa they experience their winter equivalent by December, same with Europe. Example you see snow in rhe Atlas mountains of Morocco during December, but not as intense as SA in June.

Blazebond: Everybody loves rainfall especially farmers. But excessive rainfall causes flooding & little or no rainfall causes drought. Intelligent people know that nature is so beautiful and can be extremely cruel. |

Lionessza6: You have not answered the question. You said snow makes South Africa โa tourist attractionโ. I know of no one who visits South Africa โfor the snowโ. And why should they? I honestly donโt see any reason for the thread. Not sure why you are so upset and flailing about. |
Arostar2023: 3:55pm On Jun 13 |
Kingpele: People should actually be worried instead of excited. This is climatic change in full effect. Most African nations doesn't have the resources and experience to handle a snowy winter. Our wildlife, vegetation and so on aren't adapted to cold temperatures. I hope this doesn't extend further than South Africa |

Kemetian: @1st bolded.....how many tourist you before visiting South Africa? Just curious ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() @the second bolded .......why do they come here in the first place....does SA have anything that other countries don't have ?
