Yoruba senators were sweating hard on the floor of the house arguing against immortalising Humphrey nwosu because according to them, nwosu lacked the liver to declare abiola president. But none of them including all their Vocal representatives ever ed what Dele just reminded us of how the electorates in 1993 were allowed to exercise their freedom of voting and their votes counted despite being in a military era and manual collation. Did any of those senators ever had the liver to condemn how Yorubas, our "accommodating and acclaimed educated tribe" were openly restricting and massacring people who looked like Igbos from voting in a democratic government in today's century of 2023? How more hypocritical can a people be?
